Why Search Engine Optimisation is a Good Thing
A vast amount of people begin to create websites and then literally get fed up after a few months, because the site has not taken off as they initially planned. I have seen numerous people invest hundreds and thousands of dollars to create a well planned site; I mean the site looks fabulous.
They launch their site and nothing really ends up happening, they wait for ages and still nothing happens. So they begin reading about what they can do to promote their site. Then they stagger across SEO, read a few bits and then make up one’s mind to employ someone.
But this is where it goes wrong for these people as a lot of first timers do not really have a clue about who to hire so they go for the cheap option. People that are giving SEO/216/1″>SEO services cheap are doing it for a reason, most likely because they are new to the industry or do not have a clue what it is they are doing.
Personally I have experienced developers who do not have a clue what SEO Is, I then explain it to them and the following thing I acknowledge is that they have chucked it onto their web site and they are offering SEO services that they simply do not have a clue about.
People then actually go out and pay money for these services and end up hurting their site more then benefiting it. So what then happens is the webmaster either closes his web site down or he tries to look for a better business firm.
There are a huge amount of great SEO firms around but what the good ones now have to face is trying to convince these people what can be achieved from SEO and the overall benefits it will bring to the site and the whole business.
