20 Simple Ways to Rank Higher on Google
1. Submit your website to the Open Directory Project (DMOZ) and other free directories with high PageRank.
2. Write interesting articles for online article directories like Ezine Articles or Go Articles, and article syndication services like Isnare.
3. Post comments on blog posts that are related to your website’s niche and include your links in the website box.
4. Start a blog and submit it to the 100′s of free blog directories. Technorati is a good place to start.
5. Post in online forums related to your niche and include your name, some brief information and a link to your website in the signature.
6. Optimize individual pages of your website for keywords and search phrases. Use Google’s Keyword Tool or Google Insights to find popular keywords worth targeting.
7. Include a social bookmark sharing button on your blog and articles so that your visitors can easily share your content on popular social media sites like Facebook, Twitter, Digg, Reddit and Delicious.
