Well, in the SERPS, there are usually two videos near the 2nd position…and people love to consume video, so get your videos on the first page of google! (Oh yeah, google loves youtube because….THEY ARE GOOGLE )

YouTube is massive these days and as its owned by the biggest of them all (Google) I’d imagine its only going to get bigger and bigger as time goes by. I personally use YouTube all the time to watch “How to” videos and to listen to music.

I think uploading a video to Youtube is a must for marketing. A lot of people will be more apt to take the time to watch an informative video then to read a blog. The problem I have been having is finding ways to increase my ratings/views any advise?

Cheryl I don’t think google will ever really compete with Youtube. After all they own both. I actually do like some of google video features more but Youtube for now is the backbone of internet video marketing

Hey,
I always use YouTube, not only for marketing in new niches Im entering but for personal use as well. I think that video is only going to become more and more important as the internet evolves. I’ve recently heard a lot more about “Google Videos” search and expect this to develop a lot in the coming years…

Youtube is almost becoming the standard for marketing. It seems that whatever your marketing strategy is it seems it has to incude a Youtube promotional video. The issue I am having is how to SEO the video. It always seems to come back to views but who knows. I appreciate the info

I’m not surprised youtube is used now for web marketing. Being the video streaming site with the largest user base it would be a great idea to market your website.

Youtube has a lot to do in web marketing today as it greatly helps the web and net users. Everyday more and more companies use youtube as a tool to train or to give instructions. Anyways I think youtube is one of the most visited site all over the world and its quite nice to have it ^^,
